The Centre of Rehabilitation Excellence has a multi depth pool that is heated year round to 92 degrees on average. The pool area is easily accessible by ramp for patients with wheelchairs. The CORE's pool area also has a hydraulic lift chair for patients that have difficulty getting in or out of the pool via stairs. Inside the pool are parallel bars for those patients that require just a little more stability, we also have a built in bench to sit on while performing exercises, or just to rest.

CORE also offers year round an aquatic program that is endorsed by the Arthritis Foundation. We have numerous staff members that are qualified to deliver any aquatic exercise program. Many staff members are certified aquatics arthritis instructors, also they are certified in water safety as well as CPR certified.
